Streaming Video Tip
Are you getting an “out of memory” message while watching Netflix.  Try using Firefox for you browser.   It uses less memory than Internet Explorer 8 or 9.
 
Windows 8
Much anticipated release of Windows 8 operating system scheduled for Fall 2012 release.  Microsoft hopes to recapture mobile market with this one.
 
Virus News
Trojan Fake Alert called “Win 7 Security 2012” is still making the rounds.  This rogue is promoted in two ways. The first is through the use of fake online antivirus scanners that state that your computer is infected and then prompt you to download a file that will install the infection. The other method are hacked web sites that attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in programs that you are running on your computer to install the infection without your knowledge or permission.
 
Passwords
Recommendations for a secure password.  (1) Use passwords that have at least 12 characters and a combination of letters, numerals, special characters, and caps.  (2) Have more than one password, for instance use a separate password for banking so if you get hacked the bad guys won’t have a single password for all your accounts.
